The most immersive AquaTheater ever, with a game-changing surround-stage that makes you feel part of the action. Many guests book a cruise on an Oasis Class ship due to the sheer range of options available. With the amount of entertainment, organized activities, and dining venues onboard, there is little chance guests will ever get bored on an Oasis Class ship.
Staterooms on Oasis Class ships
This is the World’s Biggest Weekend — arriving in summer 2024 to Port Canaveral. How much a Royal Caribbean costs depends so much on the choices you make before and during the cruise. Many of the extra costs are optional, but then again you are on vacation and indulging is what makes vacation so fun. In short, the 2019 upgrades to Oasis enhanced the ship to bring it in line with any new cruise ship available to sail on today. These additions are aimed to keep the ship just as relevant and intriguing as any new Royal Caribbean ship.
Activities and things to do
Additionally, thanks to Royal Caribbean’s continual enhancements, the ship remains in good condition and ready to welcome your family for a royal-worthy trip around the Mediterranean or Caribbean. In the Oasis of the Seas casino, you can find easy ways to test your luck, whether you’re an avid gambler or someone new to (all) the games. Rookies can get a crash course in popular casino games before the casino opens each day, or you can get straight to the action, playing roulette, the slots, dice, blackjack and more.
Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas Zip Line Lures Thrill Seekers to the Skies
Oasis of the Seas was a record-breaking ship when she launched in 2009, and she remains one of Royal Caribbean’s most impressive cruise ships today. We found ourselves enjoying breakfast in the park each morning from the small café located there. What you’ll find onboard includes everything from cheap eats like Johnny Rockets to fine dining like Chop’s Grille and 150 Central Park. While restaurants are located around the ship, a number of higher-end specialty dining spots line Central Park.

And totally interactive, completely redesigned spaces for babies, kids and teens of all ages. Plus a cool new glow-in-the-dark laser tag faceoff where you’ll battle for control of a mystical frozen city. Cruises are unique in that they offer all of these things and more — especially when you choose to sail on a ship like Oasis of the Seas. Go big on bold when you sail aboard the three largest cruise ships in the world. Deck-defying attractions aren’t the only things to look forward to when you sail onboard the newest cruise ships addition to the Oasis Class. But when you’re ready for something to do, there’s no end to your options.

During our trip aboard Oasis the casitas were available on a first-come, first-served and filled up quickly. We’ve seen other ships where there is a reservation system and a charge attached. Even so, it’s a good idea to snag one early if you want to have some shade. Enjoy an Open-Air Breakfast in Central ParkOfficially, Central Park isn’t listed as a spot serving breakfast. But there is Park Café, serving lighter fare like muffins, croissants, fruit, and the like. We’d suggest grabbing something here and then finding a table in the park (there are a number around).

The suite neighborhood follows a similar concept to the suite-exclusive areas found on Quantum Class ship Spectrum of the Seas. Also designed for the Chinese market, Spectrum of the Seas has exclusive dining, pool, and lounge areas just for suite guests. Symphony of the Seas was the first ship in Royal Caribbean’s fleet to offer Hooked on Seafood, a specialty restaurant specializing in New England-style seafood. Those dining at Hooked on Seafood can start their meal with starters such as Fresh-shucked Oysters, Clam & Crab Chowder, and Ceviche.
New shopping options were also added, as well as new, private VIP areas for suite guests. The refurbishments also included the addition of 44 new staterooms and suites. Benefits of the Royal Suite Class include private suite sun deck access, meals at the suites-only restaurant Coastal Kitchen, a suite concierge, Suite Lounge access, and priority boarding, among others. Oceanview and balcony cabins can provide an excellent value, as many guests prefer being able to see the ocean from their stateroom.
If you’re not familiar, CocoCay is a big deal for Royal Caribbean. Over its lifetime, Oasis of the Seas has crisscrossed the globe. Today, though, you can find this ship offering both European and Caribbean cruises. European cruises depart from Rome or Barcelona, and travel throughout the Mediterranean over the course of a week (shorter, three-night cruises visit Spain, France and Italy).
As you can see, many of the older bar and lounge spaces have received upgrades. You’ll find, once you’re onboard, that many have just received new branding and names, and remain in the same spot. Most will feature one or two main dining rooms, a buffet, and specialty restaurants that provide a variety of cuisines, from Italian to American steakhouse to Japanese.
Combined, that makes Oasis-class ships like this one different from anything else in cruising. That means even if you’ve sailed other ships — including other types in the Royal Caribbean fleet — you haven’t had the same experience as sailing on Oasis of the Seas. Does a Royal Caribbean Oasis class cruise sound like the best option for your family? See where one of these magnificent five ships can take you and your crew, as early as this summer.
AO Kids, for example, has its own “Workshop” station where kids can do crafts and science experiments. They also have video games, dodgeball, foosball tables, and other games. In the Royal Theater is CATS, the ship’s Broadway musical, telling the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles. Other than the Broadway production, the Royal Theater hosts comedians, game shows, and guest performers during any Oasis of the Seas sailing. In short, if you have an upcoming cruise aboard Oasis of the Seas, then just know that it should be something special — even if you’re a seasoned cruiser.
Everything from wine bars to pool bars–and even a bar run by robot bartenders–can be found onboard. Expect the ship to seem almost overwhelming at first given the size. It can take a few days until you feel like you’ve seen all the areas available to passengers. The great thing is that with so much size there is the perfect space for everyone and so many things to do. Suites Are RidiculousThink of a suite on a normal ship and you might think essentially a balcony cabin with some more space.
